GOALS:
- Encourage more tauira to be involved with all Te Rōpū Māori Events
- To make sure our tauira are achieving academic success
- To create future leaders for tomorrow
POSITION DESCRIPTION
- Act as Secretary of Te Rōpū and provide support to the Kaitiaki Putea;
- Attend all Te Rito meetings where possible and take accurate minutes, ensuring maintenance of minute books and records;
- The Kaituhi will be responsible for notification of all Te Rōpū Executive committee meetings and will be responsible for sending out all meeting minutes, agenda and action plans;
- Assist in the organisation and provide support to the Tumuaki and the executive;
- Where practical, will work no less than 10 hours per week, with a minimum of 3 hours designated to office hours;
- Provide Financial assistance to the Kaitiaki Putea;
- Sit on any University committees as appointed by OUSA;
- Attendance at Te Huinga Tauira is compulsory unless there are extenuating circumstances that are approved through a vote at a Te Rito hui.
