GOALS:
- To competently contribute to the goals of Te Rōpū Māori
- To provide sufficient funding to all accounts and events for tauira to enjoy
- To be a pillar of support to tauira wherever possible
POSITION DESCRIPTION
- Be responsible for co-ordination and oversight of the financial performance, commercial interests and development, implementation and monitoring of the commercial goals of Te Rōpū;
- Must act in accordance with the Te Rōpū Māori Financial Policy;
- Be a mandatory signatory for the Te Rōpū bank account;
- Assist in the organisation and provide support to the Tumuaki;
- Where practical, will work no less than 15 hours per week, with a minimum of 5 hours designated to ‘Office Hours’;
- Carry out any other duty that from time to time, may be defined by Te Rito and/or the Tumuaki;
- Sit on the OUSA Funding and Grants Committee;
- Attendance at Te Huinga Tauira is compulsory unless there are extenuating circumstances that are approved through a vote in a Te Rito Hui.
